Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah

Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is the founder of Pakistan. He was a great Muslim leader. He was born in Karachi on December 25, 1876. His father, Poonja Jinnah, was a famous merchant. He passed his matriculation examination at the age of 16. 
Then he went to England to study law. He returned as a barrister and started the law practice in Bombay. Soon he became one of the best lawyers of India. He joined Congress and worked for the Hindu-Muslim unity. he left it because the attitude of the Hindus discourage him. Then he joined the Muslim League. he tried his best to bring the Indian Muslims together. The Muslim League, under his great leadership, became the most powerful political party of the Muslims.
In 1940, he presented the demand to divide India into two countries Indian and Pakistan. It is known as Pakistan Resolution. He fought bravely against the Hindu and the English. As result of his endless efforts, Pakistan came into being on August 14, 1947. he was appointed the first Governor General of Pakistan. Hard work told upon his health. He died on September 11, 1948. his tomb has been built in Karachi. May his soul rest in peace. His motto is "Faith, Discipline and Unity."
