Muslim
history is replete with great heroes
and leaders who sacrificed their lives for
the progress and uplift of their nations and
their fellow-beings. Their names have been written with golden words by
the historians in order to pay homage to their great
deeds and services. Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is one of
those great heroes. He is the father of our nation. I like him very much.
Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad
Ali Jinnah was born on 25th of December, 1876 at Karachi. He
got his early education from the local high school. After his
matriculation, he was sent abroad for higher studies. After four
years, he returned as a barrister and began to practise
law in Bombay. Soon, he became one of the leading lawyers.
Then,
he joined Congress and began
to safeguard the rights of the Indian Muslims. Soon,
he realized that Congress was not sincere to the Muslims.
So, he left it and joined All India Muslim League which was recently
formed in 1906. He began to struggle for a separate homeland for
the Indian Muslims. It was mainly due to his efforts that
Pakistan came into being on August 14, 1947. Just one year after
the establishment of this new nation, he died on 11th of
September 1948. But, he will always live in our hearts. May his soul rest
in peace. (Amin)
