The Little Lantern
Once upon a time, there was a little lantern. He was very happy to be given to a child as a gift. The child loved him very much and kept him with him all the time.
One day, the child went for a walk in the forest with his parents. At night, when they were returning home, it got dark. The child lit his lantern and started walking in its light.
Suddenly, in a deserted place, the child saw a small child crying. The child went to him and asked, "What happened? Why are you crying?"
The small child said, "I am lost. I cannot find my way home."
The older child said, "Come, I will take you home."
The older child led the small child through the forest in the light of his lantern. After a while, they saw a small village. The small child said, "This is my village! I can find my way home from here."
The older child said goodbye to the small child and went back home.
The small child told his parents about the older child. The children's parents thanked the older child for his kindness.
The older child was very happy that he had helped the small child. He realized that it feels good to do good.
