The Kindness of Rasool خاتم النبین و مرسلین ﷺ

The Kindness of Rasool خاتم النبین و مرسلین ﷺ

The scorching Arabian sun beat down on the bustling marketplace of Medina. A young boy, barely ten years old, shuffled through the crowd, his bare feet kicking up dust. His ragged clothes barely clung to his thin frame, and his stomach rumbled with hunger. His name was Zaid, and he was an orphan, forced to beg for scraps to survive.

Suddenly, a gentle hand touched his shoulder. Zaid flinched, expecting a shove or a curse, but instead, he found himself looking into the kindest eyes he’d ever seen. The man, with a warm smile and a beard as white as a cloud, wore a simple robe. It was Prophet Muhammad (خاتم النبین و مرسلین ﷺ), peace and blessings be upon him.

The Prophet Muhammad خاتم النبین و مرسلین ﷺ saw the fear in Zaid’s eyes and knelt before him. “Are you alright, child?” his voice was soft as silk. Zaid, speechless, could only nod. The Prophet’s (خاتم النبین و مرسلین ﷺ) smile widened. “Come,” he said, “let us break your fast together.”

Zaid followed hesitantly as the Prophet Muhammad خاتم النبین و مرسلین ﷺ led him to a nearby stall. The Prophet Muhammad خاتم النبین و مرسلین ﷺ bought dates and bread, sharing them generously with Zaid. As they ate, the Prophet Muhammad خاتم النبین و مرسلین ﷺ spoke kindly, asking Zaid about his life. Zaid, for the first time in a long time, felt a warmth spread through him, not just from the food, but from the Prophet’s (خاتم النبین و مرسلین ﷺ) genuine concern.

After the meal, the Prophet Muhammad خاتم النبین و مرسلین ﷺ took Zaid back to his mosque. He introduced Zaid to his wife Aisha, who embraced him with motherly warmth. They bathed him, gave him new clothes, and offered him a place to stay.

Zaid couldn’t believe his good fortune. He learned from the Prophet Muhammad خاتم النبین و مرسلین ﷺ, not just about Islam, but also about compassion and love. The Prophet Muhammad خاتم النبین و مرسلین ﷺ treated Zaid with the same respect he showed everyone else, regardless of their social status.

One day, a wealthy merchant from Mecca came to Medina. He recognized Zaid, who had once begged from him in Mecca. The merchant was astonished to see Zaid, well-dressed and happy, beside the Prophet Muhammad خاتم النبین و مرسلین ﷺ. He approached the Prophet Muhammad خاتم النبین و مرسلین ﷺ and apologized for his past harshness towards Zaid.

The Prophet Muhammad خاتم النبین و مرسلین ﷺ smiled. “Kindness is a mark of faith,” he said. “Through kindness, even the hardest of hearts can be softened.” The merchant, touched by the Prophet’s (خاتم النبین و مرسلین ﷺ) words, offered to take Zaid back to Mecca, promising to care for him like his own son.

Zaid, with a heavy heart, said goodbye to the Prophet Muhammad خاتم النبین و مرسلین ﷺ and his new family. The Prophet Muhammad خاتم النبین و مرسلین ﷺ, with tears in his eyes, placed a hand on Zaid’s head and said, “Never forget the power of kindness, Zaid. Spread it wherever you go.”

Zaid never did forget. He grew up to be a respected man in Mecca, known for his generosity and compassion. All thanks to the kindness of a Prophet Muhammad خاتم النبین و مرسلین ﷺ who showed him that even a lost, hungry boy deserved love and respect.
