 Prepositions are words used before a noun or pronoun to show their relationship with other words in a sentence. Let me explain a few common prepositions in English with their meanings and examples in both English and Urdu:

1. In (میں)

Meaning: Used to indicate a location or time within something. Examples:

• He is in the room.
  وہ کمرے میں ہے۔
• The book is in my bag.
  کتاب میرے بیگ میں ہے۔
• She lives in Lahore.
  وہ لاہور میں رہتی ہے۔
• I will come in the evening.
  میں شام میں آؤں گا۔
• They are playing in the garden.
  وہ باغ میں کھیل رہے ہیں۔
• The clothes are in the closet.
  کپڑے الماری میں ہیں۔
• He will arrive in two hours.
  وہ دو گھنٹے میں پہنچے گا۔
• The keys are in the drawer.
  چابیاں دراز میں ہیں۔
• We are travelling in summer.
