From Failure to Success in Competitive Exams

A large number of people have watched the movie "12th Fail." The purpose of this post is to convey that having optimism, dedication, persistence, and perseverance can lead to incredible achievements.

Hope is the most powerful motivating force after love.

My journey in competitive exams began in 2018. It involved not only exam failures but also challenges like unallocation, court cases, and immense pressure.

In my first attempt of CSS in 2019, I failed in the Essay and Precis sections.

In my first attempt of PMS in the same year, I passed, but I couldn't determine if it was good or bad. After passing the exams and clearing the interview, I had to fight for three years. I don't want to spoil my positive feelings by mentioning those individuals who doubted my success.

These experiences fueled my anger and ego, which constantly pushed me to exceed my limits. During that time, my family and some friends played a significant role in supporting me.

Then, in my second attempt of CSS in 2020, I failed in the Essay section.

In my second attempt of PMS in 2022, I wanted to prove to myself, and satisfy my anger and ego, that I could succeed through hard work and dedication. However, I failed in Urdu, and it completely shattered me.

After three months, I had my last attempt of CSS in 2023. Meanwhile, I also planned to give my third and final attempt of competitive exams with all my energy. That was the lowest point in my life.

On September 18, 2023, the written result of CSS-2023 was announced.

After ten days, the written result of PMS-2023 was also revealed, and once again, I failed in the essay section.

In response, I simply said, "PPSC lost a good officer," reflecting a narcissistic attitude.

Despite all the challenges, I qualified for CSS-2023 and allocated to the Police service of Pakistan, aka PSP.

My support system includes my family and friends. I cannot express enough gratitude to God for blessing me with such a wonderful family, and my friends are truly gifts from heaven.

Due to privacy reasons, I have kept many names hidden in this post. However, they know that I love and appreciate them.
