15- DIALOGUE BETWEEN TWO BOYS ON THE TOPIC OF MOBILE MESSAGING

Faizaan: (In the hotel) Asslam-o-Alaikum!

Tayyub: Wa’alaikum-us-Salaam!

Faizaan: How are you doing these days?

Tayyub: Fine, thank you. I am very busy in my job now-a-days.

Faizaan: How beautiful mobile you have got? What is its model?

Tayyub: It’s N91 from Nokia?

Faizaan: What is its price? It looks quite pricey.

Tayyub: Its price is Rs. 36,000.

Faizaan: It’s a quite big amount for this gadget.

Tayyub: It is no doubt costly but its features deserve this price.

Faizaan: You know that how much messaging through mobile has become trendy?

Tayyub: Yes, it has become fashion to send short and multimedia message through the cells.

Faizaan: The mobile service providers have also offered their respective packages that are very attractive enough to serve this purpose. They have also diminished the cost of message service to a very nominal price in order to meet its growing demand.

Tayyub: Yes, it quite true. You can see that a mobile service provider has offered a messaging package in which one can send either short text message or multimedia message at a daily fixed deduction and the message number varies from 700-750.

Faizaan: That’s wonderful.  No one could imagine just five years ago that the mobile phone industry would flourish in our country to such extent within a short period.

Tayyub: This service is not a luxury now but it has become an essential part of our daily routine.

Faizaan: We can now send pictures, audio tracks or video tracks through multimedia message to our kith and kin.

Tayyub: We can also send textual messages through short messaging service. This form of messaging id in vogue. Now, the communication among the people has become so easy that we can easily trace a person with the help of the cell number.

Faizaan: Yes, now the mobile service providers are planning to give the facility of Video Call in which we can see the picture of the person on the other side of the place or city or country or the other part of the world if the mobile model would be the same. 

Tayyub: That’s wonderful. But if we make good use of the mobile then it would be of great help in the service of mankind.

Faizaan: Well-said. You really broadened my view about the mobile messaging.

Tayyub: It’s my pleasure. Now, I think that we should go to our home.
