Salman: Asslam-o-Alaikum!
Nouman: Wa’alaikum-us-Salaam!
Salman: How are you? Nouman.
Nouman: I beg your pardon. I did not recognize you and how do you
know my name?
Salman: Hey! Buddy, this is Salman. We used to be the
class-fellows in the school.
Nouman: Oh, I am awfully sorry. Hey! Very nice to see you. How are
you doing these days?
Salman: I am actually doing a job in some firm as a Software
Engineer. What’s about you?
Nouman: I am having my own business of mobile merchandise.
Salman: That’s very nice. Do you remember those old faces of our
dear friends mobbing around school.
Nouman: In those good old days when we used to forget the passage
of time. And do you remember that time?
Salman: Dear Nouman! It pains me to remember it. Those
teachers and those students of that time are still in my mind.
Nouman: Let’s try to remember the best of them. Aaqil, the Maths
teacher, always asking us about homework and Bashir, the Urdu teacher always
talking of Mir Taqi Mir’s love style of the poetry.
Salman: And was B himself married.
Nouman: Don’t you know it? He was a ‘confirmed bachelor’.
Salman: What a pity! He was really a nice teacher.
Nouman: Our friend Kevin who always troubled every teacher and
always got punished is in Faisalabad these days.
Salman: What is he doing now?
Nouman: He runs a big shop with his father,
sells TV’s and VCR’s.
Salman: What about Daniyal, the best hockey player in school?
Nouman: He has joined the navy.
Salman: It needs hours to talk about the old friends and teachers.
Let’s go to our dear school some time next week.
Nouman: O’ for sure, next week, on Saturday, when both of us will
be free the whole day.
Salman: I shall be waiting for you in the morning to go there.
Please come home on your motor-bike. Then we shall go to the school together
and refresh our pleasant school memories.
Nouman: All right. Good Luck. We should leave now. OK, I shall
surely come to you on the appointed day. Allah Hafiz.
Salman: Allah Hafiz.
