Assad: (The doorbell rings) Asslam-o-Alaikum! Please, come in.
Azhar: Wa’alaikum-us-Salaam!
Assad: How are you?
Azhar: I am perfectly fine. Thank you.
Assad: How nice to have you here?
Azhar: Thank you. I was free so I thought that why shouldn’t I go
to my friend’s house for some gossip?
Assad: It is fine that you are walking when the moon is
brightening all the surroundings.
Azhar: But dark it is within as my heart and my
soul are in great anguish and trouble.
Assad: What is it that has pained you? Is there something awfully
wrong at home?
Azhar: Not at home, but in the countries that are very much near
and dear to us all.
Assad: You mean to say the Iraq and Afghanistan that the US has
hit with stinger missiles and dirty bombs?
Azhar: Exactly, and it is the open high-handedness and rascality
of the US which we took to be so democratic and liberal that has chosen to
strike at the Islamic countries.
Assad: I am gone against this illegal and violent strike, this
hit, and I condemn it as strongly as I can.
Azhar: While I share your views I wish all the Muslim countries
were the strongest in the world.
Assad: I accede to what you say, it is their inner weakness and
lack of unity and co-ordination that invites foreign attacks of this sort,
whatever reasons for the attacks might be.
Azhar: If we both agree, we both can answer the question. Open
your ears and listen: Why is it that other countries do not throw their guided
missiles at the US?
Assad: Because, as we all know, that the US is a superpower, a
power above all other powers and is possessed of power to hit any
country that spoils her interests.
Azhar: This is then the power that we need to obtain.
Assad: Absolutely, certainly and undoubtedly…I accede to what you
say.
Azhar: I think I should leave as I am getting late now. I hope to
see you soon. Allah Hafiz.
Assad: Allah Hafiz.
