Pupil: Asslam-o-Alaikum!
Teacher: Wa’alaikum-us-Salaam!
Pupil: How are you doing? Sir.
Teacher: Fine, thank you.
Pupil: Sir, today’s lecture was very exciting and wonderful.
Teacher: Yes, it was. Anyways, tell me do you have any fondness for reading books?
Pupil: Of course, Sir.
Teacher: So, tell me what types of books do you like to read?
Pupil: I mostly like to read literary books. I love to read all kinds of literary genres like fiction, poetry, plays, prose etc.
Teacher: Whom do you love to read?
Pupil: I love to read Allama Iqbal’s poetry, Charles Dickens’ fiction and William Shakespeare’s plays.
Teacher: Which form of literature do you think is very close to life?
Pupil: As far as the closeness of the form of literature to the life is concerned. Everyone has its own way to opine. In my view, the prose is very close to life as it simply and realistically describes the lifelike emotions and sentiments of human beings.
Teacher: I am very pleased to know that you have a very good taste for reading books.
Pupil: Thank you, Sir. I got all this inspiration for reading books from you.
Teacher: Tell me which book or author do you like the best and why?
Pupil: My favourite author is Sir Francis Bacon because whatever he says is very close to all of our lives. His approach is universal and there is no ambiguity in whatever he says.
Teacher: That’s amazing. Your way of expression has also improved through the hobby of books reading. Books are our real friends in solitude.
Pupil: Well said! Sir, the books teach us the lessons of truth, honesty and obedience.
Teacher: Books also teach us the manners and etiquettes for different occasions of life. The books also consult us honestly and tell us to adopt a special attitude at specific occasion.
Pupil: Books reading undoubtedly helps us in shaping our character. It not only adorns us with the ornaments of knowledge but also assists us in broadening our view about the life and the people.
Teacher: That’s very well said. Anyways, now I am getting late for my next lecture. I should leave now. I strongly advise you to carry on your hobby of books reading.
Pupil: Thanks, Sir. I shall surely follow your advice.
Teacher: Ok, see you later. Allah Hafiz.

Pupil: Allah Hafiz.
