12- DIALOGUE BETWEEN TWO WOMEN ON THE TOPIC OF COOKING AND RECIPES

Zaib-un-Nisa: (Coming into the Kitchen) Asslam-o-Alaikum!

Mehr-un-Nisa: Wa’alaikum-us-Salaam!

Zaib-un-Nisa: What are you cooking today?

Mehr-un-Nisa: I am frying chicken nuggets today.

Zaib-un-Nisa: That’s very nice. Where did you get its recipe from?

Mehr-un-Nisa: I have a cooking book as well as a comprehensive CD on continental dishes.

Zaib-un-Nisa: But you have not told me about it before. Anyways, tell me which of the continental foods have you learnt to cook?

Mehr-un-Nisa: I have learnt to cook mostly Asian foods especially Chicken recipes like Chicken Manchurian, Chicken Shashlik, Chicken Jalfrezi and some Italian cereal foods like Chicken Spaghettis, Chicken Macaronis and Chicken Lasangne etc.

Zaib-un-Nisa: This is so amazing. I think you have done some cooking course from some institute.

Mehr-un-Nisa: Yes, after my exams finished then I had joined a renowned private institute for doing a short course in cooking. 

Zaib-un-Nisa: Which recipe do you cook the best?

Mehr-un-Nisa: I love to cook Chicken Manchurian and it offers me great taste and I relish from it with vegetable rice.

Zaib-un-Nisa: I also have a great fondness for cooking. I love to prepare chicken soup. I like all kinds of soups and broths.

Mehr-un-Nisa: (Taking out the fried nuggets from the pan) That’s very nice. Do you like chicken nuggets? Can you taste a nugget for me?

Zaib-un-Nisa: (Taking the nugget) Yes, of course, it’s very delicious.

Mehr-un-Nisa: You have developed a quite good taste for food. Please, help me in the presentation of the dish.
